In the centre of Harvey, Hocart Lodge is a modern home, with care at its heart.
With warm and welcoming staff, the home features 76 single en-suite rooms and 27 lifestyle units for independent living.
Hocart Lodge can provide all levels of care for you or your loved-one, allowing you to continue enjoying life in this beautiful South West town, knowing that your care is in safe hands.
Family members are encouraged to visit as often as possible and catch up with their loved-ones in one of the large common areas or lounges, in the gardens or in our residents’ light and spacious rooms.
Residents at Hocart Lodge enjoy a varied activities schedule, consisting of social events, art and craft sessions, games such as bingo and Scrabble and pamper sessions that include beauty therapy, nail care, hand massages and aromatherapy. There is also happy hour, quiet spaces to read and reflect, plus plenty of socialising at meal times, and for sports and movie afternoons.
Hocart Lodge began as the home of Annie Corbett Hocart who donated her home and adjoining land in memory of her husband John Perceval Hocart. More than 40 years later her generosity lives on with this beautifully refurbished home that honours her memory and is a true credit to the people of Harvey and their kindness.

The Hocart Lodge Aged Care Benefits
From the care we provide to the relationships we build.
For your peace of mind, we provide specialist care for your loved-one by a dedicated team of enrolled nurses and personal carers. We have the expertise to assist with complex care requirements, and will always discuss your care with you and your family.
At Hall & Prior we know that placing your loved-one in care is a big decision; we see it as an honour to care for them and we look forward to welcoming them to our family.
Staying active and socialising is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Our activity program changes each month, but will always include bus trips and outings, arts and crafts, movie days and theme days. We have a number of volunteers supporting our home and have regular musical performances, fetes, raffles and visits from school groups.
Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time and can catch up over a cup of tea in one of our comfortable lounges or peaceful gardens. There are also local cafes nearby that are ideal for outings.
Your room will be furnished for you, but we encourage you to bring personal belongings such as photographs and soft furnishings to help you feel at home.
Enjoying a variety of delicious, nutritionally balanced meals is an important part of maintaining good health. Our kitchen team create menus that provide variety and maximum nutritional value without compromising on taste. We offer choices of hot and cold meals, cater for allergies, intolerances and culturally-specific needs, and create a special menu for a theme day each month.
